If you’re looking for some good TGIF celeb-type readings…
Great find here of various writings by Mark Zuckerberg — first there’s an email he wrote (during his Harvard days) with a background on the whole ConnectU debacle. Then there are various personal “diary” type writings — that show how he was just a college student that drank on Tuesday nights and wanted to put up some photos of barn animals vs some people photos, and see which people rated to be hotter.
Just fun/interesting to see what he was writing back before Facebook was worth (on paper) $15 billion.
Made My First Million Dollars

OK - that’s a complete lie; I haven’t. But just had a quick chat with my buddy Eric and he brought up a good point as I asked him, “I’m curious who will make their first million… first.” He asked, “define ‘make’”.
Excellent question — is it what’s in your bank account and various investments? Does it include the equity you have in your house? Is it all your assets? Is it less all your debts?
What do people mean when they speak of making their “first million”?
Facebook Image Uploader - Java Applet - Replica Script?

Update: Found it! This thing is slick — it’s by Aurigma.
The java applet image uploader used on Facebook is slick — you select your pics from a file-tree and then it shrinks the files on your own computer before uploading to Facebook (which is nice when a dummy user is trying to upload 10 files that are 4mb each, and is wondering why it’s taking forever).
Anyone ever found a similar script? Either java or flash based.
Please post in the comments any great batch image upload scripts you’ve found (free or pay for) that accomplish this task.
