Steve, I think you need to get a girlfriend. A lot of your brainstorming seems to be around stalking, making connections with random people based on your common interests, etc.

Profilatic is ok but not great, actually it’s more like using Google Reader on yourself. There is also Jemery Keith’s LifeStream which is similar to the example you linked.

I’ve looked into building this and I think the main reason why it’s not a going to take off is the lack of Write API’s. Yea you can grab all your + your contacts data from last.fm, Flickr and even MySpace with a scraper. But how many of those sites will let you leave a comment without going back into the site? With the exception of Flickr and Twitter, not many.
