Definitely a sweet idea. I personally am a huge fan of the TV show 'Lost'. Here's a use case of how I would use this site.

24 hours leading up to the episode:
- Get a list of all of the Lost podcasts that have been released in the previous week
- Read the most popular new theories
- Be able to post comments (or live chat) with other Lost fanboys about the upcoming episode

During the show:
- I'd jump in during commercials to comment on what's going on (again, live chat would be good) but would need to filter on time zone so I don't see comments from people who have already watched the episode on the east coast
- Pull up screen captures of specific moments that may have hidden easter eggs

After the show:
- Comments! Chat! Be able to post new theories and read about details I may have missed
- See a list of all podcasts related to this episode
- If I missed it, be able to download the show or watch live stream (Lost has this available from ABC.com)

In general:
- Meet other Lostaholics, have friends and be able to do standard social networking stuff
- Arrange meetups to watch the show with other Lost fans

MyPunchBowl.com is doing some similar things to what you're saying where it's all around the event, the pre-event, the post-event, integrating with Flickr, Plaxo, etc...it's just that your focus is a bit larger, maybe categorical but you should send a note to Matt at MyPunchBowl and see if they're going into the specific angle you're talking about.

Hi,

This is really a brilliant idea. Are you going to be implementing this yourself, or is it open for your blog readers to take on and play around with it to build their own site?

Regards,
Jay

Hey Steve. I've added comments to the various pages of your mockup, as you suggested. Very interesting concepts, and like Robert 1 indicated your in-depth use of scans of the original idea note pages, and the web page mockups are brilliant.

I did a little bit of work with this idea before christmas. An event has a time and date, so it's possible to find untagged photos by doing a fuzzy search on the date and time they were taken. You could also add little thumbs up thumbs down to let the users rate which found photos were actually relevant to the event.
