Steve, where are the ideas? F Twitter!!!

By Steve Poland   •   April 3, 2007

All, it’s not that I’ve hit a creative road block — it’s that I’ve been obsessed with Twitter lately. My apologies — don’t remove me from your RSS feed yet, please :) I’ll get past this.

The other problem is that I’m currently hoarding my ideas (18 of them), which is throwing me into a road block of creative flow via this blog. I’m working with a couple of people at the moment to implement various ones — announcements shortly.

Another announcement coming soon I hope/think regarding Ringside Startup.

Finally, I have a pass to Web 2.0 Expo — but still need somewhere to stay. If anyone lives in San Francisco and is open to giving me some closet space between April 14-18, feel free to email me. And if anyone works for one of the airlines and wants to sponsor my flight out to the event, I still haven’t picked up an airplane ticket yet (and not because I’m cheap, but because funds are tight at the moment — so if anyone has any other ideas on how I can get out to San Fran from Buffalo for free, I’d love to hear them).

    Hey Steve,
Why not make RingsideStartup a Twitter app? It would give some good buzz to both projects. I’m a contributor at RingsideStartup and would love to follow it. Maybe float the idea on the RingsideStartup blog? Anyways, keep up the good work and get some R&R at Web 2.0 Expo :)

The Twitter stuff I want to just launch, then expose.

Ringside — announcement sooner than later on what’s going to go down.

I became a little obsessed with Twitter too, probably mostly your fault. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that – especially since you’ve got so many other things going on. Your ideas are always great to jump start some brainstorming.

As the saying goes, obsession is a pathway to the Dark Side… :D Looking forward to your new ideas!

Got something to say?
