Often people will show some numbers from a web log analyzer for the traffic levels (as you mentioned in your Note to sellers). However, it might be optimal to have the sellers use a third party tracker like GoStats.com with viewable stats to have “audited” figures.

Very interesting site. I have used SitePoint.com’s marketplace a few times. That is probably the best palce to buy and sell websites currently. But, this niche market should be a huge success.

Sounds like a neat idea. Hopefully it will focus on high-quality listings and differentiate itself from other similar services, such as SitePoint’s marketplace.

Perhaps a “make me sell” option could be a killer feature. Zillow has a “make me sell” option that seems very promising.

Interesting idea; I’ve seen several bloggers discuss something similar (was it Om?). Ah, I can’t remember.

Anyway, with the number of eBay sellouts, I think this might be of value to at least a few people… A problem-specific service is always better than one that tries to do everything.
