Who’s going to Web 2.0 Expo (Apr 15-18)?
By Steve Poland • April 4, 2007
I’m confirmed and attending the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco — and will be reporting on behalf of TechCrunch.
If you’ll be in attendance, or live in the SF area, post below so that we can all connect at the event. (who are you, what do you do, company, interests)
Post any parties too.
Also, if you’re in the area and want to meet up for a few minutes (even if you’re not attending the event), feel free to email me.

I’m in SF Saturday Apr 14 – Wed Apr 18.
I’ll be there and I’ve set up a little meet-up for people interested in connecting event organizers with people who want/like/have to speak at events. Sign up here: http://upcoming.org/event/171100/
I work for Yahoo! Publisher Network and I’m helping to organize an un-conference conference later this year in up-state New York. If you’re interested, check it out: http://www.woodstock2expo.com.
See u in SF!
Yes, I am absolutely going. Pretty impressed with the lineup of speakers etc, especially in the workshops.
I’ll be staying in Palo Alto, and driving up to SF. Let me know if you need a ride.

Take a look at my TechCrunch critique: beasyoube.vox.com. I give a shout out to this site and its author. For anyone reading this I sure would appreciate some votes so I can take a trip to San Francisco for the Web 2.0 Expo. I’m thinking about moving out there after I graduate in May so I can also do some apartment shopping. Let me know what you think of my Trash TechCrunch post.
Would people be interested in meeting up for a networking/drinking event? I live in San Francisco, and it seems like it would be a great opportunity for people attending the Expo to get together outside the convention. Maybe we could post up an event on Craigslist and find a time & place convenient for all.
P.S. There are some great bars around the Financial District not far from the Moscone Center.
If I end up going I would definitely be up for a meet and greet. I’ll let you know.
I would be down, as long as it’s right near the conference.

Craigslist is good for a lot, but if you want local feedback on where to eat, shop, sleep, DRINK AND CAROUSE etc Yelp! is where its at.
OK, now you owe me like 30x over.
Steve,
I’ll be at the expo and would love to get together.
